Paul Evans
Chief Operating Officer and Founding Partner
Paul is the Chief Operating Officer of Ironbridge and is responsible for investor reporting, finance and administration. Paul has 19 years of private equity experience with 3i in the UK and with AMP, GPEL and Ironbridge in Australia.
After six years as a Director of AMP Private Equity, where he led several of Australia's leading management buyouts, Paul left to join GPEL in 2001 as a Director. Within GPEF he led the A$252 million buyout of car parts group Repco.
In 2003 Paul became one of the Founding Partners of Ironbridge and plays a leadership role in the retail sector investment programme across both Ironbridge Funds.
Paul has sat on the Ironbridge Investment Committee since inception and has represented the Ironbridge Funds on the Boards of Mrs Crocket's Kitchen, Barbeques Galore, iNova Pharmaceuticals and MediaWorks.
Paul obtained a first class Honours degree in Modern Languages from Cambridge University. Paul is a Council Member and current Treasurer of AVCAL (Australian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association).
