Richard Hanney
Investor Relations Manager
Richard Hanney has over 10 years of experience gained through positions in Australia and Europe. His expertise spans fundraising, corporate advisory, investment management and international trade consulting.
Richard joined Ironbridge in 2011 as Investor Relations Manager having previously been at Babcock & Brown (B&B) in Sydney until 2009. He originally joined B&B in 2005, first in the Real Estate Investment Management division, before moving in January 2007 to the Capital Markets Group (CMG) to help establish an internal fund raising capability. During his CMG tenure his primary focus was on the management of existing and prospective global limited partner relationships.
Following his time at B&B Richard joined Alceon, a boutique corporate advisory business in Sydney, to develop their capital raising function. Prior to immigrating to Australia in 2002 he spent 2 years specialising in international trade consulting with KPMG in Dublin.
An Irish and Australian citizen, he holds a Masters of Finance (Distinction) from the University of Sydney along with a Bachelor of Economics and Politics (International) from University College, Dublin which included a year of studying in Belgium.
