Stephen Rorie
Director, Portfolio Finance
Stephen has over fifteen years of commercial and corporate finance experience.
Stephen's role at Ironbridge is to add value to the portfolio companies and encompasses three main areas namely; involvement in the financial due diligence process prior to acquisition; working with the portfolio CFOs on projects after a business is acquired; and an ongoing review of the various businesses with an emphasis on financial reporting, processes and systems.
Stephen worked for EY for several years in the audit division before leaving to join Pacific Dunlop where he held several commercial finance roles in divisions within Pacific Brands.
Following this Stephen has held senior finance roles including Chief Financial Officer of previously ASX listed companies Parbury Limited and the Volante Group. He also gained extensive corporate finance experience during his role as Group Finance Manager at Mirvac Group.
Prior to joining Ironbridge in January 2008, Stephen was the Chief Financial Officer of ASX listed company Integrated Research.
Since joining Ironbridge, Stephen has worked with the majority of the businesses in the Ironbridge portfolio. His involvement with the portfolio companies has ranged from adopting the role as the CFO of the business on a day to day basis through to implementing improved reporting systems and financial modelling.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of NSW and is a Chartered Accountant.
