Neil Broekhuizen (Joint Chief Executive Officer)

Neil has 15 years of private equity experience with Investcorp and Bridgepoint Capital in Europe and with Gresham Private Equity and Ironbridge in Australia.

After graduating from Imperial College, Neil spent four years working with Ernst & Young in London followed by an 18 month secondment to NatWest's leveraged lending unit.

Neil joined the international buyout group Investcorp in 1993 where he worked on large European buyouts including Thorn Lighting, Computacenter and Gucci.

He joined Bridgepoint Capital in 1996 and led a number of successful buyouts including Vehicle Solutions, Blagden Packaging and Serck Heat Transfer.

Neil was seconded to Gresham Private Equity by Bridgepoint in 2000 where he led the A$60 million buyout of Eroc, a specialist underground contractor.

Since co-founding Ironbridge in 2003, Neil has led the acquisition of leading independent traveller business RTG, the A$974 million acquisition of Affinity Health, the A$112 million acquisition of retirement care provider Qualcare and the acquisition of IVF provider, Repromed.

Neil is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc (Eng) Honours degree from Imperial College, University of London, where he read electronic engineering.
